What to expect on your first visit to OCBC…
Visiting any church for the first time can be a tough experience. Where to go? What to wear? What time to arrive? What’s here for my kids? What can I expect? These and many other questions surface. We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Orting Community Baptist Church will be refreshing, helpful, and above all friendly.  We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home” with us! Here are a few answers to questions you may have and what you can expect on your first visit.

Finding Us…
It may be a little difficult to locate us if it is your first time visiting; however, our church sign can clearly be seen right off of Kansas St here in Orting.  Just drive back the gravel lane and park anywhere you’d like. We have two main entrances, one on either side of our facilities underneath the crosses.

 What are the Services Like?
Sunday mornings are filled with uplifting hymns, special music and recitations, and practical Bible teaching. Pastor Gore preaches straight from the Word of God in an understanding way and applies Scripture to where we are today.  Sunday evenings are more of a relaxed and personal setting and are certainly worth attending.  During our mid-week service, Pastor dives deep into various subjects of the Bible and opens up for discussion and questions.  Each service is about an hour in length.

How Should I Dress?
There is not a dress code for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at OCBC! We would encourage you to come dressed to worship the Lord.
